Welcome to Southern California Junior Cricket Academy (SCJCA) — where Sports, Education & Community come together to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, lead, and thrive.
Serving youth throughout the City of Compton, SCJCA provides FREE, inclusive youth cricket programming designed for beginners and developing players alike. Through hands-on cricket training, mentorship, leadership development, wellness, financial literacy, hygiene education, and community experiences, we’re helping young people build skills that extend far beyond the cricket field.

Why SCJCA?
More than a game
Cricket helps young people practice teamwork, focus, confidence, and leadership. At SCJCA, kids learn the sport in a supportive community where they can make friends, challenge themselves, and have fun.
Batting Skills
Learn how to hold the bat, watch the ball, make contact, and score runs.
Fielding Skills
Learn how to stop the ball, throw accurately, and work together to support the team.

Quarterly events to promote sport
