Diversity Equity & Inclusion

At Southern California Junior Cricket Academy, we are committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all participants. We believe that cricket is a sport that unites people from various backgrounds, and we celebrate the richness of diversity within our league.

We welcome participants of all ages, genders, races, ethnicities, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, and socio-economic backgrounds. Our league is a place where everyone is valued and embraced for who they are.

We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities for all participants. Regardless of background, every player is encouraged to pursue their passion for cricket and develop their skills in a supportive and fair playing field.

We strive to make cricket accessible to all interested participants. This includes providing resources, facilities, and accommodations to ensure that everyone can engage in the sport without barriers.

We are committed to ongoing education and awareness regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion. This includes promoting understanding, empathy, and cultural competence among our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters.

Our youth cricket league is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for all participants. We proudly stand with BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color) communities, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the sport.

Our Actions:

We engage with our community to foster connections and collaborations that promote diversity and inclusion. We actively seek partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to these values.

By embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion, we believe that SCJCA will not only be a place where cricket skills are developed but also a community that reflects the richness of the world we live in.

Together, let's play cricket, learn from each other, and grow as a united and inclusive team.
